I'm seeing great definition in my waistline which is surprising since I was struggling with weight gain in my waist and hips over the past couple years. I'm coming to the end of Phase 2 (of 3) in her program and have lost 13 pounds. Since I started I have been following the online meal plan pretty religiously and have been amazed at the transformation I've had and all while only working out 30-35 minutes a day. I started the BR program on 2/16 and did you 7 day kickstart diet along with it. For the past 5 years I have been running half marathons and doing triathlons and have trained really hard every day, sometimes 2 hours/day, but I kept gaining weight even though I was burning a ton of calories. I turn 50 in a couple months and I was feeling the same way until I joined Jillian's site and started the Body Revolution program. Is it a conspiracy? I can't even blame God because I'm Atheist! Anyone else out there struggling with these issues and how do you keep yourself motivated when Mother Nature seems to be working against you? I am finding it very hard to stick with it which is why I came back to the Jillian Michael's site. Do you think a girl could drop a few? Evidently not when you are in your 50's. What the hell happened? How can one day I be fit and trim and quite literally wake up the day after my 50th birthday and be 5 pounds heavier? And then another 5 pounds the next and so on where now at the age of 54 I am 170 pounds? I eat right, drink plenty of water, and have increased my working out. Then I turned 50 and all that went right out the window with my bikini's. I am 5'6" and found that I could keep at 145 to 150 pounds with exercise and good clean eating.
Even when I had children I dropped the baby weight without major issues. I have always been able to keep a good handle on my weight.
